Full Lot Description
A George V silver vesta case, with foliage scrolling enclosing central vacant shield, with hallmarked chain attachment, hallmarked William Henry Sparrow, Birmingham 1912; plus a late Victorian silver sovereign case, of typical form with circular, central panel, hallmarked Alfred Wigley, Birmingham 1898, and a similar, later example, stamped 925, each with ring attachment. Overall weight 2.5ozt (80g).

Condition Report
- Items show general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
- Silver to vesta case is quite dark.
- Hinged lid is in good working order.
- Push lock to Victorian example appears damaged, but movement is in good working order.
- Some deeper scratches and small nicks are visible to Victorian example.
- Later example is very bashed and compressed to back.
- Hinged lid wobbles slightly and shows small gape even when locked by functioning push lock.
- Spring mechanism to both sovereign holders appears in good condition.
