An Edwardian silver vesta case, of typical form, engraved with foliate scrolls and vacant shield cartouche, hallmarked Birmingham 1902, plus another similarly decorated example, hallmarked Birmingham 1914; together with three plain silver vestas, comprising a late Victorian example with name engraved and Xmas 1892, hallmarked Birmingham 1891, and two Edwardian cases, hallmarked Chester 1904 and Birmingham 1903, various maker's marks. Gross weight 3.17ozt (98.6g). (6).

Condition Report

All appear with quite heavy tarnish and dirt all over and in need of a clean.
All displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches, and minor dints.
All appear to close securely.
Hallmarks are mostly clear and legible with some dirt and dried polish residues in the punches.
