A George III silver ovoid nutmeg grater, with monogram engraving to upper body, unscrewing to reveal detachable rasp. Hallmarked I T, Birmingham 1798. Height approx. 6cm. Weight excluding rasp 16.5g.

Condition Report
- Item is in fair condition in consideration of age and use, showing some general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
- Silver is quite bright and shiny.
- Lower section is unmarked.
- Texture to lower section is quite bashed and bumpy.
- There is a small split repair evident to rim of lower section.
- Hallmarks are slightly rubbed but still legible.
- Rasp is very blackened and worn.
- Screw attachment catches slightly but is in good working condition.
