A pair of late Victorian silver novelty knife rests, each modelled with two bird heads facing each other with their beaks touching, having textured feather decoration and green and brown glass eyes, and each mounted on a lozenge shape wood base. Hallmarked Birmingham 1897, with maker's mark. Length 14cm.
