A modern silver novelty mustard pot, modelled as an owl with textured plumage detail all over, with amber glass eyes and holding in its beak the mouse finial of the spoon, the hinged head opening to a gilt interior and blue glass liner; with a smaller similarly modelled owl salt pot, having a detachable head with bayonet closure. Both hallmarked Comyns of London Ltd., 2010 and 2011 (spoon appears unmarked). Height of mustard 10.5cm, height of salt 7cm, gross weight excluding liner 19.34ozt (601.5g). Together with a plated owl caster. (3).
