A late 19th century cased sextant by Henry Porter, engraved Cary London, retains paper label to the inside lid 'Apprentice & Successor to the late W. Cary, 181 Strand London', ink dated March 1891, case 24cm x 22.5cm x 12cm

- The case has a large split across the top
- Scuffs, dents and marks to the case
- Missing a brass cartouche to the lid
- Presumably two small accessories missing and vacant sections
