A mid 19th century Charles Frodsham marine two-day chronometer with a 4.25in silvered and engraved dial signed Charles Frodsham, 84 Strand, London No. 2184 with subsidiary seconds and up down indicator, mounted in a brass bowl gimbal fitted to a three tier mahogany case with brass fitments, paper label to the inner lid ink inscribed Cleaned & oiled, Jan 1919, the case with inset ivory tablet numbered 2184 with FRODSHAM beneath, all within a later associated travelling case
