An early 20th century gold opal pendant, with chain.
Length of pendant 4.4cms. Length of chain 40cms. 5.2gms.

Condition Report
Surface scratches and minor marks.
Chain links slightly stretched.
Wear to the gilt finish on the pendant, noticeably to the surmount and back of the pendant.
Opals show fair to good play of colour in a range of hues.
Apparent largest opal estimated dimensions 10 by 5 by 1.4mms (matrix cavity to the reverse).
Electronically tests as approximately 9ct gold.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
