An Edwardian silver Cameronians Officer's belt boss and whistle, the boss with sixteen battle honours for China, Guadaloupe, Martinique, Corunna, Egypt, Mandora, Malplaquet, Oudenarde, Millies, Blenheim, Relief of Ladysmith, South Africa 1899, South Africa 1846-7 - 1877-8-9, Abyssinia, Lucknow and Sevastopol, with applied dragon across several of the names, the centre with chains attaching a covered whistle with Pharoah and Egyptian detail. Hallmarked Joseph Jennens & Co, Birmingham 1909. Boss diameter 6cm, whistle length 8cm (including suspension loop), gross weight 4.7ozt (148g).
