A late 19th century split pearl and onyx foliate brooch, length 3cm, 6.9gm.

Condition Report
Early 19th century brooch with some surface scratches/abrasion and some discolouration. Brooch pin bent, split pearls fairly well matched, with typical surface blemishes and light nacre damage. Glazed panel in fair condition, with some abrasion.
Mid 19th brooch with some surface scratches/abrasion and some discolouration. Brooch pin bent, one split pearl loose under glazed panel. Split pearls with typical surface blemishes and light nacre damage. Glazed panel in fair condition, with light surface scratches.
Late 19th century brooch with light surface scratches. Onyx in good condition with minor surface scratches/wear and light abrasion. Split pearls fairly well matched with typical surface blemishes and light nacre damage.
Mid 19th century brooch electronically tested as 9ct gold.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
