Lot Description
A late Victorian silver and gold old-cut diamond and pearl bow brooch.
Estimated total diamond weight 2.50cts, G-tinted colour, VS2-P1 clarity.
Estimated length of pearls 7.8 to 5.6mms.
Length 5.1cms. 10.2gms.
Pearls untested for natural origin.

Condition Report
Surface scratches and small marks.
General tarnish/discolouration.
Converted from a necklace or similar.
One of the side components is fixed in place, the other moves freely on the connecting ring.
Brooch fittings are later.
Later jump ring to reverse for safety chain, remains of safety chain remain.
Pearls untested for natural origin.
Pearls show glue at mounts.
Pearls appear fairly well matched creamy white hue, varied overtones and lustre. Central pearl shows some iron staining/dirt to exterior near the mount.
Diamonds appear bright. Colour varies, some appearing tinted yellow and brown, some diamonds with glue/dirt around the mount.
Two diamonds with small nicks/chips.
