A late Victorian silver and gold, old-cut diamond and demantoid garnet brooch, depicting a parrot on circular perch.

Surmount and connecting link presumed replacements.
Possible repair to back of tail feathers.
Few replacement gems.
Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
Two diamonds with small chips.
Demantoid garnets are a light through deep yellowy green, varied saturation and tone.
Minor to moderate abrasions, one with small chip.
Glue visible to some mounts.
