Lot Description
A late Victorian gold, pearl, diamond and sapphire crescent moon brooch.
Apparent largest sapphire calculated weight 0.32ct, based on estimated dimensions of 4.3 by 3.5 by 2.3mms.
Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct.
Length 5.2cms. 7gms.
Pearl untested for natural origin.

Possible alterations to fittings/knife-edge bar, discolouration at joins.
Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
Pearl untested for natural origin.
Pearl appears bouton shape, creamy white, slight ovetones, good lustre. Small surface blemishes.
Sapphires appear a fairly bright, well matched deep blue. Two sapphires with small nicks.
