Lot Description

An early Victorian gold double-sided mourning locket, in swivel mount, the interior with dates for three individuals and inscription 'In Heaven their Angels do always behold the Face of my Father which is in Heaven', the reverse locket with single glazed compartment.

Diameter 4.7cms. 49.5gms.

Locket is currently sat in a circular mount as a component for another item.
Locket is currently not wearable as an item of jewellery.
Single glazed compartment holds four individual locks of hair.
Three compartment side of locket with hair to each compartment and engraved dated 'F.C.S. 27 July 1829', '3 May 1832' and 'C.S. 4 Aug 1838'.
