Full Lot Description
A pair of George IV silver sugar tongs, in Fiddle pattern with engraved initials, hallmarked William Cummins, Dublin 1820, length 16.5cm; together with a pair of mid-Victorian silver sauce ladles, also in plain Fiddle pattern, hallmarked The Portland Co (Francis Higgins III), London 1860, length 18cm. Total weight 5.74ozt (178.4g).

Condition Report
- All displaying some general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing consistent with their age
- Some minor surface nicks and sticker marks or residues
- Sugar tongs appear in fairly good alignment when pressed together; some slightly heavier wear around the edges of the bowls including a crack and minor dints; hallmark punches are blackened but the marks are still clearly legible; maker's mark a little rubbed but legible
- Both ladles with some heavier wear around the edges of the bowls, more so on one ladle where the metal feels a little thinner; hallmark punches blackened but marks are all legible
