Full Lot Description
Stainless steel case. Signed quartz calibre 1611, numbered 40105383. Black dial with luminous baton markers, date aperture to three, two LED digital displays. Fitted to a signed integral stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp.
The 'Albatross' was introduced in 1976 at the Montreal Olympic Games and was Omega's flagship chronograph at that time. The watch bore a similarly the the scoreboard used at that Olympic games, which Omega was the official timekeeper. It was the first chronograph to feature both an analogue and a digital display. It gained its nickname, the Albatross, due to the shape of the battery clamping system resembling an albatross's wings. When new back in 1976 the watch had a retail price of £375, by comparison, a Speedmaster chronograph 'Moonwatch' cost £175!!!!

Movement is currently functioning.
Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
Dial appears to be in a generally good condition, however luminous markers show some marks
Hands appear to be in a generally good condition.
Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
Case has light scratches and some dints.
Crown has light scratches and marking. Pushers have light scratches.
Bracelet has scratches and some signs of stretching to links.
Clasp is currently functioning and shows light scratches and marks.
Bracelet measures approximately 19.5cm including case.
This lot does not come with box or papers.
