Hedy Martinelli is a renowned Italian jewellery brand with a rich history dating back over fifty years. The story begins across Belgrade, Zagreb, and Budapest; however, it finds its true fulfilment in Rome, Italy. The brand's founder, Hedy Martinelli, established an Art Déco jewellery boutique in Rome, where she created unique and luxurious pieces that resonated with the desires of the "new" Italian woman—strong, independent, and stylish.
Moreover, Hedy's designs were inspired by her extensive travels, which incorporated a variety of cultural influences and materials. Consequently, each piece is handcrafted, making them one-of-a-kind. During the 70s and 80s, Hedy's Boutique became a cultural hub in Rome, frequented by notable figures such as Marcello Mastroianni, Sergio Leone, and Catherine Deneuve.
Furthermore, the legacy continues through Hedy's granddaughter, Livia Mimosa Fazioli, who launched the prêt-à-porter line, Seliti by Hedy Martinelli. Drawing on her grandmother’s teachings, Livia creates contemporary pieces that maintain the brand's luxurious and artistic heritage. Specifically, this line is characterised by its oversized designs and lightweight silver craftsmanship, catering to women with a strong, elegant, and distinctive personality.
