Admiral Lord Nelson, a George III silver commemorative vinaigrette, the rounded rectangular form with pricked borders, and foliate motif to base, the cover with a portrait of Nelson in naval uniform, within an oval cartouche inscribed around the edge, 'England expects every man will do his duty', and opening to a silver-gilt interior and pierced grille depicting H.M.S 'Victory' with 'Trafalgar Ocr. 21.1805' below. Hallmarked Matthew Linwood, Birmingham 1805. Length 3.7cm, gross weight 20 grams.
