Full Lot Description
An Edwardian silver copy of The Warwick Vase, with bead and ovolo rim above lion pelts and Bacchanalian heads to the main body, within fruiting vine and acanthus leaf borders, with entwined vine branch handles and the whole raised on a beaded stem to a circular foot and square base. Hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd., London 1901. Height approx. 8.5" (21.6cm), weight 59.69 ozt (1856.7 grams).

Item is in fair condition, showing surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing in keeping with age and use.
Bacchanalian heads to the main body show some heavy polish residue.
Area between Bacchanalian heads and acanthus border to lower body is quite bumpy and bashed, with one notable, asymmetric bash evident and some general compressions.
Border below ovolo rim appears a little dirty.
Interior shows some darker tarnishing and deeper surface scratches.
Reeded detail to circular foot shows darker tarnishing to recesses.
Hallmarks are crisp and legible.
