George III silver swing handle bread basket of oval open work wire form with applied intertwining fruiting vines amongst wheat ears,  and a single fly resting on a vine leaf, the base with engraved armorial. Hallmarked Emick Romer London 1764. Weight 37.5 ozt (1166 grams).

The bread basket appears in good condition displaying general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Remnants of old polish visible to recesses. The hallmarks are clear and legible positioned to the side of the base, the swing handle marked with the maker's mark and standard mark only.
