Lot Description
A Victorian silver key wind half hunter pocket watch by J G Graves, the white dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, bordered by a scale with Arabic divisions, the plain case with black Roman chapter ring to front, hallmarked Chester 1898, fitted with a signed three quarter plate movement with club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 56mm. Watch is missing its glass.

Silver half hunter pocket watch, key wind manual movement is currently functioning, dial shows noticeable marks partially round the centre, dial also shows a crack by the 'XII' numeral, glass is missing, case has marks and scratches as a result of general use, enamel chapter ring to the front of the case appears to show heat damage, case band shows some light denting, back of the case shows some dints, hinges show wear to the corners, hinges to the back are loose, bow has some damage close to the pendent.
