George III pair of matched open salts of oblong form, the crested bodies with gilt bowls gadrooned rims with shell motif to the corners. Hallmarked Rebecca Emes & Edward Barnard I London 1816 and Robert Hennell I & Samuel Hennell London 1810. Height measuring 2 inches (5 cm), gross combined weight 7.93 ozt (246 grams).

Condition Report
The salts display general scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. There is heavy tarnishing visible and would benefit from a clean and polish. The gilding to the interiors worn, particularly to one example. Rubbing of the finer details of the border also visible. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
