Lot 445

Lot Description

Continental pair of small dishes, each modelled in the form of a scallop shell with realistic moulding, possibly Mexican.  Both stamped 925 to the underside with various other marks.  Maximum length of each measures 8.5 cm, combined weight 65.8 grams.

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

Both dishes display some tarnishing and light wear, and also light surface marks and scratches.  There is slight loss of detail to the shell moulding in places, more so to one of them.  One dish is stamped 925 and METAXAS and the other appears to be stamped r.42-925 and M.I. APMAOZ.
