A Dutch silver box of oval form and hinged lid, embossed with figurative scenes with floral scroll borders, height measuring 2 3/4 inches (7 cm). Together with a smaller Dutch hinged silver box of similar form and decoration, height measuring 3 inches (7.5 cm). Both marked to the underside with the Dutch passant mark alongside HH. Gross weight 14.29 ozt (444 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavy polish deposits to the recesses of the embossing. Minor dints and bumps. Some rubbing to the definition of the decoration.
