A William IV silver 'castle top' vinaigrette by Nathaniel Mills, the oblong form with engine-turned decoration and initialled cartouche to the underside, floral scroll thumb-piece, applied panel to the hinged lid depicting Newstead Abbey and opening to a silver-gilt interior with floral grille. Hallmarked Nathaniel Mills, Birmingham 1836. Length measuring 4.2 cm, weight 30 grams.

Condition Report
The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A little rubbing to the decoration. Grille hinge a little twisted. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
