Lot Description
A George V silver sovereign holder, having name and date engraving to the hinged cover and with suspension ring to top, hallmarked Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1912, diameter measures 3.5 cm. Together with another similar example, part hallmarks visible only, possibly William Neale & Son, Birmingham 1941, a 1940's silver pen knife having personal engraving, a needle case, a seal and a small figure of a continental maid. Condition Report
The lot appears in overall good to fair condition. The sovereign cases each with few small knocks, dints and scratches, hinges and spring movements in good working order to each. The blade to the pen knife is stiff to open. Other items are unmarked and the needle case is heavily rubbed. Hallmarks are clear and with part hallmarks to suspension rings.
