A George III pair of silver sugar nips, the stems with engraved foliate decoration and initial engraved cartouche to the terminal, hallmarked Peter, Ann & William Bateman, assumed London 1799, length measuring 5 6/8 inches (14.7 cm). Together with a pair of late Victorian silver sauce ladles, each of double struck Fiddle shell pattern with crested terminal, hallmarked Josiah Williams & Co (George Maudsley Jackson), London 1893, plus a William IV silver caddy spoon, of double struck Fiddle shell pattern with fluted bowl, hallmarked Mary Chawner, London 1834. Gross weight 6.8 ozt (211.5 grams).
