A mid-twentieth century silver condiment set, comprising a pair of mustard pots (missing liners), pair of open salts with blue glass liners and a pair of casters, each of plain form with shell and gadroon border raised upon four pad feet, together with four associated silver condiment spoons, in a fitted case. Hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd., Birmingham 1951. Gross weight exclusive of liners 8 ozt (125.1 grams).

Condition Report
In overall good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The interiors of the open salts are heavily tarnished with minor chips and nibbles to the edge of the blue glass liners. The open salts, mustard pots and casters are further marked 'The Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Ld 112 Regent Street. W.' beneath the base. Remnants of pepper to the interior of the casters. Three of the four condiments spoons are hallmarked Adie Brothers Ltd., Birmingham 1951, the other is hallmarked William Aitken, Birmingham 1906 with an engraved initial to the terminal. The fitted case has scuffs and losses to the edges and corners, the lined interior has retailer's details for The Goldsmiths & Silversmiths. Hallmarks clear and legible, partial hallmarks to various sections.
