Lot Description

An Asian twin-handled tray, the rounded rectangular form with raised rim having a lobed border, a further stiff leaf border to the centre surrounding raised decoration depicting various figures in traditional dress playing instruments and dancing. Appears unmarked. Maximum length including handles measuring 19 1/2 inches (49.5 cm), weight 30.84 ozt (959.3 grams).

The tray appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying general tarnishing and some surface wear, marks and scratches. Would benefit from a clean and polish. Appears unmarked. Tray tests as 93.2% to 94.2 % silver. Handles test slightly lower at 82.4 %
