Lot Description
A pair of late Victorian silver footed dishes, each of circular pierced form with applied floral border, raised upon a wavy pierced footed base. Hallmarked Mappin & Webb (John Newton Mappin), Sheffield 1891. Diameter measures 7 inches (18 cm), gross weight 19 ozt (592.2 grams).

Condition Report
In good overall condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. One of the dishes wobbles on its footed base. Would benefit from a clean and polish. Maker's mark slightly distorted, other hallmarks clear and legible, further marked 'Mappin & Webb' beneath the bases.
