Condition Report
In varied state, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The fitted case of the christening set is significantly worn and damaged along the interior hinge. Possibly replacement tines to the fork as there is a visible flood of solder either side, the date letter is obscured by this, other marks rubbed but legible, its ferrule is dated 1837. The knife blade is dated 1836, its ferrule is dated 1837. The spoon is dated 1833, some tarnish spots to the interior bowl. The pair of knife rests are both missing some of their ball terminals. There is a drilled hole to the nephrite jade body of the singular example.
