Lot Description
An early twentieth century pair of silver mounted candlesticks, each of plain tapered form with circular reeded filled base and similarly decorated nozzle. Hallmarked Birmingham, date letter and maker's mark quite distorted possibly William Devenport 1920. Height measuring 7 inches (17.5 cm).

Condition Report
In fair condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Construction seams visible to the stems. Both bases are filled, the loading has dropped in one. Hallmarks rubbed and distorted, partial hallmarks to the nozzles.
