Condition Report
In good overall condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. One stand does not sit flat and wobbles with a dent to one corner by the ball foot. The central ring handles are slightly loose, one is missing two nuts beneath the base with signs of crude solder around some of the fixtures. Remnants of polish visible, both would benefit from a clean and polish. The open salts are likely to have had glass liners, none present. Minor loss of definition to the engraved crests. Assay marks include the Standard and Guarantee mark for Paris, alongside a maker's mark beneath the base tentatively attributed to Jean-Baptiste Claude Odiot (1763-1850). Marks to the base clear and legible, other marks to the separate pieces slightly rubbed and worn.
