Lot Description

A silver sovereign case of cube shaped form, the sliding cover opening to reveal a sprung loaded platform for a full sovereign, with suspension loop to the top, hallmarked Birmingham, maker's mark obscured, platform dated 1903, width measures 3 cm. Together with an Edwardian silver cigarette case, of oblong form with engraved foliate and scroll motifs surrounding a monogrammed shield cartouche, hallmarked Birmingham 1903, an Edwardian silver visiting card case (A/F), with engraved personal inscription, a George V further plain silver visiting card case, a pair of 1920's silver mounted clothes brushes with engraved initials, etc. Gross weighable silver 5.8 ozt (180.5 grams).
