A pair of white metal Indian boxes, each of oval form with an embossed band of fan and foliate motifs, the removable covers with painted ivorine portrait panels of a Mughal prince and princess, inset beneath glass. Appear unmarked.

In fair condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The glass appears crackled under a loop. The cover of the Mughal prince is quite loose. Significant bumps and dents to the bases. Both appear unmarked.
