Lot Description
A small 1920's silver compact case, of circular form with pink guilloche enamelled decoration to the top, opening to reveal a silver-gilt interior with inset mirror to the lid, together with a removable base metal powder compartment and powder puff. Hallmarked Daniel Manufacturing Company, Birmingham 1927. Width measures 5.7 cm.

Condition Report
In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor surface scratches to the enamel. The mirror plate has powder and dirt residue. The base metal compartment has powder still present, the power puff is worn and flat. Hallmarks clear and legible, no partial hallmarks to the lid.
