Lot Description
A George II silver cream jug, of bellied form with embossed floral and scroll motifs surrounding a vacant cartouche, with high arch scroll handle and raised upon three pad feet. Hallmarked London 1759, maker's mark partly distorted possibly C.D?. Height measuring 3 6/8 inches (9.7 cm), weight 2.1 ozt (67.1 grams).

Condition Report
In overall fair condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Significant compression to the body from the feet. Visible signs of repair above the front left foot as there is loss of definition to the embossed decoration and small holes to the silver. Signs of splits to the underneath of the spout lip. Minor dent to the base. Remnants of polish visible. Maker's mark partly distorted possibly C.D?, other hallmarks rubbed but legible.
