Lot Description
A small Edwardian silver bowl, of circular form with an engraved personal inscription and the National Rifle Association emblem in low relief, hallmarked Elkington & Co Ltd., Birmingham 1901. Together with a small silver twin-handled trophy cup with personal inscription, hallmarked Walker & Hall, Birmingham 1934. Gross weight 5.1 ozt (161 grams). (2).

Condition Report
In overall good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Both items would benefit from a clean and polished, very heavily tarnished, heavier wear to the interior of the bowl. The bowl is engraved 'Kolapore Cup 1901 Won By Mother Country AR: SGt Scott' and the trophy is engraved 'Mt Pleasant Hort L SocY Ladies Cup M. E. Luff 1934. The bowl is further marked 'Elkington & Co' beneath the base. The trophy cup has become squashed with minor bumps and dents, the circular foot is also mis-shaped. Hallmarks clear and legible.
