Lot Description
A William IV silver bowl, of circular octagonal form with scalloped edge, florally embossed panels and twin opposed cartouche, one with engraved crest, the whole raised upon a stepped foot. Hallmarked Benjamin Smith III, London 1830. Height measuring 3 1/2 inches (9 cm), weight 14.6 ozt (455.6 grams).

Condition Report
In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor bumps and dents to the body. Minor loss of definition to the engraved crest and embossed flowers. Heavier tarnishing to the interior of the bowl and underneath the scalloped edge. Hallmarks slightly rubbed and worn but still legible.
