Lot Description

A pair of late Victorian silver mounted bud vases, each with flared quatrefoil shape rim to a tapering stem with lower knop and filled circular base. Hallmarked Horace Woodward & Co Ltd., London 1899. Height measuring 8 5/8 inches (22 cm).

The vases appear in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general tarnishing and surface wear, marks and scratches. A few creases in the metal just below the knops. The hallmarks and maker's marks appear rubbed and partly worn but still legible.
