Lot Description

An early twentieth century silver mounted candlestick, the cylindrical column raised upon a square base with embossed ribbon garlands. Hallmarked J & R Griffin (Joseph & Richard Griffin), Chester 1913. Height measuring 4 1/2 inches (11.4 cm).

In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The candlestick has a filled base lined with a black material which has some losses to the corner. Maker's mark slightly worn, other hallmarks clear and legible.
