A horn snuff box with white metal hinged mount and vacant cartouche. Appears unmarked. Maximum height measuring 2 3/8 inches (6 cm).

In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some chips to the horn beneath the rim of the white metal mount and some losses to the silver mount around the top inner edge. The horn surface is crazed in areas with some natural imperfections. Mount appears unmarked.
