Condition Report
The vinaigrette displays some general surface wear, marks, scratches and nicks. Gilding appears quite bright although there is some wear to the interior, mainly around edges and corners. There are also heavier contact marks and scratches to surface of interior. Splits around hinge to grille and possible repair. There is also some dirt around the hinge. Hinges appear in working order, however the grille hinge is quite a tight fit and if not closed properly then the lid cannot open easily. Hallmarked to interior, some rubbing but mostly clear and legible. Also Duty mark stuck to one corner of grille reverse.
