A selection of nineteen mid to late Victorian mother-of-pearl and silver folding knives, of varying shape and design, majority with carved handles, four with engraved personal inscriptions to the blade or cartouche, hallmarks for Birmingham and Sheffield, various dates and maker's marks including George Unite and Arthur Worral Staniforth. Together with two late Victorian silver folding knives, each with engraved foliate or scroll decoration surrounding monogrammed cartouches, hallmarked Sheffield 1896 & 1899. (21).

Condition Report
In varied state, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some of the blades are slightly creased in places or appear a bit thin. Majority appear in good working order in terms of the folding function, one of the silver examples does not shut fully flush. The engraved inscriptions to the cartouche or blades include various names and initials. Majority of hallmarks clear and legible. This lot may have export issues, for customers outside of the EU, please note that it is the buyers responsibility to adhere to any import/export requirements.
