Lot Description

An Edwardian novelty silver figure of a Pug dog, modelled standing with naturalistic detail. Hallmarked Nathan & Hayes (George Nathan & Ridley Hayes), Chester 1903. Height to head measuring 4 cm, weight 46.8 grams.

The Pug appears in good overall condition, displaying some tarnishing and expected surface wear, marks and scratches. Slight loss of surface detail to areas of the decoration but generally still good. Hallmarks located to one of the front legs, clear and legible. Maker's mark a little distorted but still legible.
