Lot Description

A modern pair of silver wine labels, each of oblong form with embossed floral border and engraved 'BRANDY' and 'GIN', hallmarked Hampton Utilities, Birmingham 1976, width measures 6.2 cm. Together with a further example similarly decorated and engraved 'RUM', hallmarked John Rose, Birmingham 1973. Gross weight 40.9 grams.

In fair condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The suspension chain on the 'BRANDY' label is detached at one end. Remnants of polish visible in between the embossed decoration, each would benefit from a clean. The 'RUM' label is slightly rubbed. Hallmarks clear and legible.
