In poor condition. Displaying quite heavy tarnishing and staining to some areas and surface wear, marks and scratches throughout. Many surface dints and bumps. Several heavy repairs are visible, around the join of the base to the foot rim and a circular repair patch just below the join of the handle to the lower body indicating possibly not the original handle. Further repairs around the hinge pins to the handle mounts and repairs or replacement finial to the lid. Blue marker pen to the underside with the date 1769. Hallmarks are rubbed and partly worn.
