Lot Description
A Georgian silver cream jug, of circular bellied form with an embossed hunting scene surrounded by floral motifs leading to a vacant cartouche, with high arch scroll handle and raised upon three hoof feet. Hallmarked London, possibly 1756, maker's mark illegible. Height measuring 4 1/2 inches (10.5 cm), weight 2.3 ozt (73.6 grams).

Condition Report
In fair to good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Remnants of polish visible, would benefit from a clean. Hallmarks significantly rubbed and worn, outline of the town mark visible, partial lion passant, partly obscured date letter possibly 1756 and maker's mark illegible.
