A Chinese export silver footed bowl.

Lot Description
A Chinese export silver bowl, the circular form with serpentine rim above relief decorated panel sides, each depicting a differing design of peony flowers, bamboo trees, prunus blossom and flowering branches, some with birds, with one panel vacant and the whole raised on a spread footed base. Marked WH 90 alongside a character mark and attributed to Wang Hing & Co (Hong Kong). Maximum diameter measuring 7 1/2 inches (19 cm), weight 15.29 ozt (475.7 grams).

Condition Report
The bowl appears in good overall condition, displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. Tarnishing throughout and would benefit from a clean and polish. Some heavier scratches and surface nicks located to interior of bowl. A couple of minor surface dints. Slight loss of surface detail to areas of the raised decoration but generally still good. Seam line visible to footed base. Marks are located to underside of base, some rubbing but still legible.
