Full Lot Description
An early 20th century silver sugar caster by Mappin & Webb, of baluster form, the panelled neck leading to a wavy rim above a tapering lower body, the whole raised upon a conforming foot, with removable domed and pierced cover with finial, hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd, London 1914, height 6.75" (17.25cm). Together with an earlier example, with a reeded pie crust rim above a plain tapering body, leading to a short stem and circular spreading base, with removable domed cover with foliate pierced decoration and finial, hallmarked Thomas Bradbury & Sons, London 1904. Total weight 7.8ozt (243.6 grams). (2).
